Hatherley Manor Hotel & Spa is delighted to announce that it has achieved the highest possible Food Hygiene Rating of 5 out of 5, following a recent inspection by Tewkesbury Borough Council.
This outstanding result reflects the hotel’s unwavering commitment to excellence in food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen management across all its dining experiences, from The Thyme at the Manor Restaurant to the hotel’s renowned wedding and event catering services.
The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme is operated in partnership with local authorities and the Food Standards Agency, assessing venues on a range of essential criteria including food handling, storage, preparation, cleanliness of facilities, and management systems. A top score of five signifies “very good” – the highest rating possible.
“We’re incredibly proud to have received the top rating from Tewkesbury Borough Council”, said Will Wellon, General Manger at Hatherley Manor Hotel and Spa. “This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our kitchen and restaurant teams, who take great pride in delivering the very best dining experience for our guests.”
Guests at Hatherley Manor can continue to dine with confidence, knowing that every meal is prepared and served in an environment that prioritises not only taste and presentation, but also hygiene, safety, and sustainability.
