Our guide to wedding insurance
The dress, the flowers and the rings are just a few of the many costs to a wedding which, of course, is a huge financial investment. A recent poll by UK Bride found 58% of people are considering buying wedding insurance which is something we always recommend for added piece of mind and to cover against any mishaps on or before your wedding day.
Before you start looking at some of the comparison sites such as CompareWeddingInsurance.org.uk and MoneySuperMarket.com, take some time to consider what level of cover you require so you can ensure you select a level of cover that meets your needs. These are just a few of the items you should consider cancellation or failure to supply cover for: catering, entertainment, cake, dresses and suites, venue, rings, photographer and flowers.
It is probably also worth noting that wedding insurance does not cover honeymoon insurance – this is something you will need to purchase separately.
Finally, once you have found your wedding insurance check out the cash back sites such as TopCashback to see if there are any deals.
