At the heart of Hatherley Manor’s environmental evolution is the installation of cutting-edge solar panels. On bright, clear days, these panels now power the entire hotel and spa, a remarkable stride towards complete reliance on renewable energy.

Hatherley Manor has embraced the future of travel by installing electric vehicle charging points in its car park, making it easier than ever for guests to choose greener options. Supporting the shift away from fossil fuels is just one of the ways the hotel is helping ensure every guest experience contributes to a healthier planet.

A war on plastic is another battle Hatherley Manor is tackling with determination. Single-use plastic bottles in bedrooms have been replaced by eco-conscious dispensers, reducing waste without compromising on guest comfort.

Beyond the hotel walls, nature is thriving. Five flourishing beehives on the estate play a vital role in supporting local biodiversity, while the hotel’s expansive 37-acre grounds are undergoing an ambitious rewilding project. This initiative is creating vital habitats for wildlife and helping to restore natural ecosystems across the estate.

Hatherley Manor Hotel & Spa has already been recognised for its commitment to sustainability and excellence, proudly receiving the Greengage ECOsmart 2024 Silver Award. This accolade reflects our ongoing efforts to minimise environmental impact and promote responsible hospitality.

“Our vision is clear: the future of luxury hospitality must be sustainable,” said Will Wellon, General Manager at Hatherley Manor Hotel & Spa. “We are proud to lead by example, demonstrating that environmental responsibility and five-star guest experiences can go hand in hand.”
