Keeping Kids Entertained This Summer? Hatherley Manor’s New Hattie Hunt Adventure Offers the Perfect Family Day Out 

The school summer holidays are fast approaching, and while children may be counting down the days, many parents are already looking for ways to fill the six-week break with activities the whole family can enjoy. 

In fact, previous research from Ipsos found that 64% of parents said they found it difficult to keep their children entertained during the school summer holidays. With that in mind, Hatherley Manor Hotel & Spa has created a summer experience designed to delight children and adults alike. 

Available throughout the summer holidays, the Gloucestershire hotel’s brand-new Hattie Hunt Afternoon Tea is inspired by the iconic children’s book ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’. Families are invited to enjoy a classic British afternoon tea before little explorers set off in search of the hotel’s resident cat, Hattie, who has hidden herself around the beautiful manor grounds. 

While little ones immerse themselves in the hunt, parents can relax over freshly prepared sandwiches, homemade cakes and sweet treats, making it a family day out that’s just as enjoyable for grown-ups as it is for children.

The Afternoon Tea is available from 20th July to 30th August and offers families a fun-filled day of adventure, delicious food and time together in the Gloucestershire countryside.
