We had an amazing time and so did all our guests. We would like to thank you for your patience and your help in the planning of everything. We especially appreciated how quick and transparent you were with your answers, and how open you were to little tweaks we wanted. You have made this process very smooth, and in turn, the day there very enjoyable and amazing!
The food was delicious from start to finish! It was so beautifully presented, and the portion size was perfect so we felt full but not stuffed. Really great work from the kitchen!
I do not know where to begin regarding the serving staff. 100/10, 5 stars, perfect, out of this world!! They felt like a part of the party, with contagious positive energy as if this was not a day of work for them (and a really hot one too).

I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for giving our daughter and her husband the most wonderful wedding day. Everything was absolutely perfect, and it’s all thanks to you and the incredible staff at Hatherley Manor. A special thank you must go to Beth Jameson, who originally dealt with us when booking and planning the wedding. She was brilliant from the very start — so kind, helpful, organised, and supportive. She made the whole planning process feel so easy and reassured us every step of the way, for which we are so grateful.
Charlotte, our wedding coordinator on the day, was truly fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble — whenever we asked for something, her response was never “I’ll see what I can do” but always “I’ll get that sorted.” Her positive, can-do attitude made everything run so smoothly, and we were so impressed by her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. She truly went above and beyond to make sure the day was exactly how they had dreamed it would be.
All of the hotel staff were equally lovely. Even the housekeeping team took the time to tell us how beautiful our daughter looked and asked us if we had had a good day — such a small gesture, but it really meant a lot to us and added to the warmth and happiness we felt throughout our stay.
The bar staff were absolutely wonderful too — so kind and helpful whenever we asked for anything, and especially lovely with the bride and groom’s young son, making him feel part of the day. The reception staff were brilliant as well; kind, professional and chatty, they also provided us with a key whenever we needed one without any fuss, which made everything so much easier for us.
I also have to say how amazing the food was — every guest commented on how delicious it all was, and it really helped make the day even more special. We honestly can’t thank you enough. We will be singing your praises to everyone we know and recommending your beautiful venue whenever we get the chance. Thank you again for everything.

Thank you for your incredible hard work when it came to helping us organise our big day! You were so quick with responding and always gave us answers in a timely, friendly manner! We truly appreciate all of the hard work that went on behind the scenes! Martha, What a woman! Thank you Martha for EVERYTHING you did on Friday! We loved when you got our guests to wave their napkins and cheer us into the wedding breakfast it was a massive highlight of ours! The team of staff on the day were so lovely and friendly! Nothing went wrong at all and it all ran so smoothly! A couple of shout outs for the spa team! Firstly the blonde lady who was working on Thursday evening for the free glass of Prosecco and secondly to Emily for the best massage I’ve ever received! We had the best wedding day ever and it is all thanks to you.

From start to finish, the day could not have run smoother. We could not fault it at all. Steve was such a calming influence and his superb organisation of the day was evident and so reassuring to us both. He was so kind and when I was personally super nervous before walking down the aisle, he was a comforting and encouraging face. Josh who took over was equally lovely (he even kept trying to make sure I was fed when the evening food was served). He was a friendly face for us and our guests.
All the other staff were amazing and clearly worked so hard. A special mention to Lexi who we had met a few weeks prior. She made sure the sweet cart was sorted and was just a super friendly face all day. Finally, a huge thank you to Melanie, who took over our wedding at the start of the year. She has been amazing throughout and made the end planning stages as easy as possible. Thank you once again for an incredible day.

Honestly I am so happy to have had our wedding at Hatherley. We couldn’t have asked for any better. All staff were completely attentive kind and professional. Nothing was too much for anyone. I would recommend Hatherley to anyone else getting married. It couldn’t have been more special! Special thanks to Mel and Alex who truly were the best! We had complements all day about how great the day was by so many guests – a massive reflection on them both!
