In Gloucester, take a wander around the historic Gloucester Docks and canalside trails then stop for a pint with your dog at pubs that welcome well-behaved pups like The Fountain Inn, Dr Foster or Brewhouse & Kitchen – Gloucester Quays. You can explore outdoor museum spaces like Gloucester Waterways Museum site (dogs on leads welcome outside) and enjoy wide canalside walks together. In Cheltenham, head out for scenic walkies in places like Pittville Park and nearby countryside before relaxing with a drink at dog-friendly pubs such as Sandford Park Alehouse, The Old Courthouse or The Brown Jug.
