Covid 19: update

Following on from the government update on Wednesday 19th January we have updated our covid policy. The guidelines state that from Thursday 27th January masks will no longer be required in communal areas of hotel and spa. It is the personal choice of guests if they would like to wear a face covering.

The government guidelines state that masks are still required for personal care so those attending The Spa will be required to wear a face mask when enjoying a treatment (when it is reasonable to do so).

We continue to kindly ask all guests of the hotel and spa to take a lateral flow test prior to arrival to help keep us all safe.

  • For events we have limited the room capacity to provide more space for social distancing.
  • All staff are aware of their personal obligations in relation to reporting of illness or symptoms to minimise the possibility of sharing infections and will socially distance as much as possible from guests and other staff.
  • It is the personal choice of guests if they wish to wear a face covering, however we do kindly request they continue to do so in the communal areas.
  • Hand sanitiser is available throughout the hotel.
  • We kindly request anyone attending an event at the hotel to take a lateral flow test on the day of the event.

Hatherley Manor Hotel & Spa are committed to ensuring our guests’ experience flexibility during these very challenging times so are delighted to offer a fully flexible rate. With this in mind, if we re-enter restrictions or a lockdown, then all bookings for the hotel and spa will be eligible for a refund or a transfer of date. We are also happy to refund or move the booking for anyone that is unable to stay due to a positive PCR test result.
